Machine-readable specifications, ready-to-run collections and the long-form documents behind this site. Everything here is versioned with the API and refreshed on each documentation revision.

Machine-readable

ItemFormatUse
OpenAPI 3.1 description JSON Generate a typed client, or import into your API tooling. Served live by the venue, so it always matches the deployed build.
Interactive API console Web Execute any REST endpoint against the sandbox. Requests are signed in your browser, so you can exercise the API before writing a signer.
Postman collection JSON Every endpoint with an auto-signing pre-request script. Set your key and secret as collection variables and send. The Postman quickstart walks through the setup and a suggested demo flow.

Integration manuals

Self-contained briefs written to be handed to a coding assistant such as Claude Code, or read directly by an engineer. The transport manuals each cover one transport end to end, including acceptance tests and the mistakes that actually occur in practice; the combined pack covers the whole native (REST + WebSocket) integration in one file.

DocumentCovers
REST integration manual Signing, endpoints, order bodies, idempotency, the retry matrix, acceptance tests.
WebSocket integration manual Both sockets, every operation and channel, delivery guarantees, gap frames, the reconnect procedure, pipelining.
FIX 4.4 integration manual Codec rules, session layer, order entry and execution reports, drop copy, market data, conformance checklist.
Combined integration pack The whole native (REST + WebSocket) integration in one file: signing, contract sizing, batch order entry, position seeding and reconciliation, recovery, rate limits, the full error registry, plus choosing a transport (with measured latency) and the FIX market-data decisions.

Handbooks and reference

DocumentCovers
Member technical handbook The trading manual: instrument mechanics, every order type, margin and fees, the venue-initiated flow, limits, credential scopes, recovery.
Member API reference The long-form wire reference with the versioning policy and changelog.
Complete code reference Every numeric code, WebSocket close code and enumerated value, with client handling guidance.
FIX rules of engagement The session contract counterparties certify against.
Member portal user guide The web portal for a member's operations staff: every tab from account overview to reports, venue inquiries, and self-onboarding.
Conformance test plan The certification standard: what a member system is tested on before production credentials are issued. Scoped by role and transport, and deliberately rejection-first, since the point is how your system handles what the venue refuses, not the happy path.
DocumentCovers
Netting and unsolicited flow statement The venue's written position on netting semantics, what is risk-bearing versus reporting only, the blast radius of a liquidation, and how ADL allocates across a member's end clients. Written to be attached to member due diligence.
